My research interest is in enactive theories of cognition, attention and perception form both experimental and philosophical perspectives. I study the sensorimotor foundation of integrating novel sensory information indicating the magnetic north into the human sensory apparatus using behavioral, phenomenological and physiological techniques, the guidance of visual attention in spontaneous natural behavior using mobile eye tracking, and the potential to improve body awareness and cognitive control via contemplative sensorimotor practices. I hold a PhD, Master and Bachelor degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Osnabrück.
